Food stalls within the track grounds are very expensive, so exit the grounds and head to your nearest Hawker Centre for cheap food and drink!
Take a reusable water bottle
Singapore is HOT and you will need to drink a lot! Save yourself S$3 and use one of the many refillable water bottle stations rather than buying a new bottle at a drinks stall.
Search for the best priced beer
On the first day of our F1 weekend, we bought a beer for S$15… you can then imagine our upset when we walked into Zone 4 and found a beer for S$10. Do some walking and search around for the cheapest drinks!
Find cheap accommodation
We were lucky to bag ourselves a house sit over the F1 weekend using Trusted Housesitters. This saved us an incredible amount of money!
Some tickets offer perks or certain inclusions. Our entry ticket included free rides on the Singapore Flyer and access to the Time Capsule… an activity that would usually be S$40!
Finally…
This event is a huge part of Singapore’s sporting identity and we were so lucky to be able to integrate it into our travel plans. One of our favourite things is planning trips around a festival because there is a whole new layer of excitement running through the city!
