The BEST rooftop bars in Kuala Lumpur!
Kuala Lumpur: A city with magnificent skyline beauty! What better way to enjoy the shining city lights than on the rooftop of a skyscraper!
In Kuala Lumpur, there are many rooftop bars which boast spectacular views of the city at night. We have tried, tested and chosen three sky bars in the centre of the city and outlined their best qualities for you!
Best for an overall skyline view?
Bar Vertigo is at level 59 of Banyan Tree hotel. It has comfy indoor and outdoor seating and great DJ music, but bear in mind that the drinks and tapas are quite expensive, with bar snacks ranging from RM82 to RM198 and cocktails starting at RM50.
However, this is the ideal spot for incredible overall city views, including of the Petronas Towers and the KL Tower.
Best for a great food deal?
Canopy Lounge by TigerBay advertises itself as the ‘ultimate shisha smoking experience’, but fellow foodies like us will be more interested in their great happy-hour food deals. If you visit on a weekday between 3pm-7.30pm, almost all starters will cost RM25 and main meals will cost RM35 – incredible prices for a city centre rooftop bar! The food is a twist on traditional indo-chinese cuisine and you can even enjoy whilst watching live sports or live events.

Best view of the Petronas Towers?
Head to the 33rd floor of Traders Hotel to get to Shangri-La SkyBar, which offers beautiful unobstructed views of the Petronas Towers. For a minimum spend, the server will offer you a booth which directly faces the Petronas Towers in all their glory.
They serve tapas and baos which begin at RM25 and pizza which costs RM52. The price, although not cheap, is less than Bar Vertigo and definitely worth it for the view!
